Day 1

Siem Reap Arrival – Angkor Wat

Upon arrival and after clearing immigration and customs, be transferred by our local guide to hotel for check in. Siem Reap orientation, walking along the Siem Reap Riverside, and visit the Fruit-bat in front of the Residence of King, late afternoon we drive to visit the biggest religious temple in the world – the magnificent Angkor Wat. Built by Suryavarman II in the early 12th century, Angkor Wat is considered a masterpiece of Khmer architecture until sunset.

Day 2

Siem Reap – Banteay Srei – Ta Prohm – Angkor Thom

Early morning, we enjoy the Tuk Tuk to the jungle-covered temple of Ta Phrom and come back to hotel for breakfast at 07:30 AM. One hour later, begin your temple exploration today at Angkor Thom City by west gate. From the enigmatic faces of Bayon temple to the intricate bas reliefs of the Terrace of the Elephants, Angkor Thom is filled with fabulous monuments. Lunch at local restaurant on your own account. After lunch we drive to Banteay Srei, it is also one of the most beautiful temples. Built in 967 AD by Jayavarman V’s guru, it showcases the most exquisite, deep and complex carvings in all Khmer architecture, and Preah Khan meaning “Holy Sword” is one of the largest temple compounds in Angkor and is defended by four concentric walls. The main shrine and its adjoining buildings are richly decorated with Buddhist motifs and scenes from Hindu epics.  Meals: Breakfast.

Day 3

Siem Reap – Khmer Village – Beng Mealea Temple

Today we heading out to one Khmer Village, your chance to really see what real life is like in Cambodia Village. Spend time helping a poor village family go about their daily life. This scenic drive takes you through local countryside providing some great photo opportunities. For a few hours you will have rare chance to see inside the life of Cambodian Villagers. You may be rice planting, harvesting, roof making or banana harvesting – life revolves around the seasons, so it will vary depending on when you visit. Lunch box will be provided in one house of the villagers. Then we driver further to Beng Mealea temple and explore the long abandoned temple (11th century), strangled by the jungle.  Meals: Breakfast, Lunch.

Day 4

Siem Reap – Phnom Penh by speedboat (Option by plane, private car)

Early morning, the driver will meet you at hotel at 6 AM and take you to the dock to catch a speed-boat trip to Phnom Penh (departure at 7 AM), on the way from the boat, many scenic views of the Cambodian rural life along the riverbank.
Welcome to Phnom Penh, Cambodia’s vibrant and bustling capital city. Despite its recent turbulent history, Phnom Penh’s wide tree-lined boulevards and faded colonial mansions hold an undeniable charm. Upon arrival, the tour guide and driver will meet you at the dock and take you to your hotel. In the afternoon, we visit the National Museum – an excellent introduction into ancient Khmer art and civilization and the Royal Palace, home to the royal family and the opulent silver pagoda.

Day 5

Phnom Penh City Tour

Phnom Penh was founded in the 14th century and has long been a vital trading hub at the confluence of three rivers: the Mekong, Tonle Sap, and Bassac. Start the day learning about the Khmer Rouge and Cambodia’s recent history on a guided tour of the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and the notorious Choeung Ek “Killing Fields”.
In the afternoon, we continue to visit Wat Phnom and Wat Ounalom pagoda, then shopping at Russian Market or Central Market. Late afternoon,we will start a boat trip on Mekong river to see the sunset. Meals: Breakfast.

Day 6

Phnom Penh Departure
