Detailed Itinerary of 13 days China Tour is as appended below.

Day 1

Depart from Australia to Beijing, China

Day 2

Arrive in Beijing; met by guide at the airport and transfer to your hotel.

Day 3

After a brief city tour in Beijing, transfer to airport and fly to Wuhan; met at airport by guide and transfer to your hotel; rest of the time is free for you to do some shopping and get ready for the next day’s visit to Tuanfeng Orphanage.

Day 4

Drive about 2 hours on highway to get to Tuanfeng; pay a visit to the orphanage where the child was from and then go to visit a local elementary school or kindergarten; return to Wuhan in the evening.

Day 5

Full day touring in Wuhan that includes the East Lake, Bell Tower and Yellow Crane Tower.

Day 6

Transfer to airport and fly to Chengdu; met by guide and transfer to your hotel; after a short rest and lunch, visit Jinsha Archaeological Museum, Dufu Cottage, and People’s Park; go to a local teahouse and watch the Face Changing Show after dinner.

Day 7

Full day volunteer work at Chengdu Panda Breeding and Research Center; by donation, you can take photos with pandas there.

Day 8

Morning at leisure; check out of hotel at noon and transfer to the train station and take an overnight train to Beijing.

Day 9

Arrive in Beijing by train early in the morning; met by guide and transfer to hotel for breakfast; after some rest, come out and visit Tiananmen Square, the “Egg”- National Performing Arts Center, and Forbidden City in the morning; after lunch, take part in a “Hutong & Courtyard” tour by pedicab and visit a local family; enjoy a local cuisine dinner followed by a short episode of Peking Opera Show tonight.

Day 10

Excursion to the Great Wall at Mutianyu; take the cable car up and toboggan down the hill; stop by a mountain village for lunch and meet with local rural residents (cable car up & tobogganing down); return to the city.

Day 11

Enjoy swimming in your hotel indoor pool; after lunch, go to the enchanting Summer Palace with a boat ride on Kunming Lake; enjoy an Imperial Cuisine Dinner at Baijia Dayuan Restaurant followed by the Legned of Kungfu Performance.

Day 12

Get up early this morning to visit the fabled Temple of Heaven to see Chinese locals doing all kinds of morning exercises; kids can join in a game of feathered hacky sack with locals and experience the mysterious echo wall; after lunch, return to your hotel and relax; enjoy a special farewell dinner at a local elite restaurant.

Day 13

Transfer to the airport and fly home.
