Day 1

Arrive in Beijing

You will be greeted and transferred to check in at your luxurious hotel, where you are at your leisure to relax and enjoy the evening.

Day 2

Beijing – Tian An Men Square, Forbidden City, Pearl Factory and Summer Palace

Beijing is the capital city of China, with population of 17.4 million. We embark for a full day tour which begins at the Tian An Men Square, noted as the largest public square in the world with its monuments and buildings situated around the square’s perimeter. Thereafter we will visit the Forbidden City, Pearl Factory and Summer Palace whilst enjoying a walk along Lake Kunming. Dinner is served with a fabulous Peking Duck Banquet.

Day 3

Beijing – Great Wall

Today, you’ll visit the Great Wall (Chang Cheng), after that, you will stop at a Jade Museum to learn the history of Jade. In Chinese, jade is pronounced as ‘Yu’, and it has a history in China of at least four thousands years. In the afternoon, stroll around the Wangfujing Street.

Day 4

Beijing to Lhasa

In the morning, take the flight from Beijing to Lhasa. Lhasa is known as the “Roof of the World”, which has an altitude of 3650 meters above sea level. Upon arrival, the guide will pick you up at the airport and transfer to hotel. Have a good rest at hotel to acclimatize yourself to the high altitude city.

Day 5

Lhasa – Norbulingkha, the Tibetan summer palace, Drepung Monastery

An extraordinary day of sightseeing shows Norbulingkha, the Tibetan summer palace, built by the seventh Dalai Lama in the 18th century. After that, visit scenic Drepung Monastery, once home to 10,000 lamas.

Day 6

Lhasa- Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street Bazaar

Today you’ll join other pilgrims from around the world by visiting the sacred Potala Palace, home of the Dalai Lama. The palace has been built on the side of Red Mountain at a final height of 12,000 feet. Officially called Marpo Ri, it was included on the World Heritage List in 1994. Then, explore Jokhang Temple, the crown jewel of the Tang Dynasty that ruled from 618 until 907. Afternoon visit a Thangka Shop to appreciate the traditional Tibetan painting art form up close, at last make an abrupt switch by visiting the Barkhor Street Bazaar, part stock exchange and part shopping horn of plenty.

Day 7

Lhasa / Xian

Today fly to historic Xian, ancient capital of China and site of archaeological treasures. This evening perhaps, join an optional tour to a traditional performance of music and dance from the Tang Dynasty period.

Day 8

Xian- Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum

You will visit the Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum (Bing Ma Yong). It’s known as the 8th miracle in the world. The whole mausoleum is like a cultural treasure vault with large collections of relics. Visit the Terra Cotta Army replication factories later. Then, visit the Ancient City Wall, 14th century wall is one of the most complete city walls in China and certainly one of the best examples from the Ming dynasty.

Day 9

Xian to Shanghai

Take the flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival, the guide will meet you at the airport and then accompany you to hotel. Have a good rest at hotel or explore this city on your own.

Day 10

Shanghai- Old Town and the quiet Yuyuan Garden, Shanghai silk carpet factory

Today’s portion of the tour will take you into Shanghai, China’s financial center. Take some time to explore the commercial aspects of Old Town and the quiet Yuyuan Garden before checking out the 120,000 art exhibits in the Shanghai Museum. Afternoon visit the Shanghai silk carpet factory where you can doing some shopping. Stroll around the Bund, the waterfront of Shanghai, and alongside the Huang-pu River as well as the bustling Nanjing Road. A special farewell dinner of Shanghai cuisine will be served after enjoying the world-famous Acrobatic Show.

Departure from Shanghai

Be transferred to airport to take the flight for your home.
