Today’s journey begins with a visit to Biwako Shirahige Shrine, one of the oldest shrines in Omi Province, renowned for its striking water torii gate that appears to float on the lake. In the calm of the early morning or at dusk, the torii blends beautifully with the reflections on the lake, creating a breathtaking and almost mystical scene. The tour then continues to the Biwako Observation Deck, perched 1,100 meters above sea level. 

From here, you can enjoy an unobstructed 360° view of Lake Biwa, where the vast sky meets the shimmering waters—a perfect spot for memorable photos. This full-day excursion introduces you to Amanohashidate—one of Japan’s “Three Scenic Views”—and the charming fishing village of Ine, often referred to as the “Venice of Japan.”

Your day begins with a convenient departure from either Nipponbashi (08:40 AM) or Kyoto Station (09:50 AM). Please ensure you arrive at least 10 minutes prior, as the tour departs promptly. 

Arrive at the stunning Amanohashidate, a 3.6 km pine-covered sandbar stretching across Miyazu Bay, famously resembling a “bridge to heaven.” Take in the iconic “Flying Dragon View” from the observatory atop Mt. Monju (cable car/monorail at own expense), where panoramic coastal scenery unfolds before you. Explore the historic Chionji Temple, known for blessings of wisdom and its unique fan-shaped fortunes, and enjoy a relaxing stroll along the soft white sand beaches lined with thousands of pine trees. Continue your journey to the serene Ine Funaya Village, one of Japan’s most beautiful and preserved coastal towns. Famous for its traditional “boat houses” built along the water, Ine offers a rare glimpse into a lifestyle where homes and the sea coexist harmoniously. Take a leisurely walk, explore the quiet alleys by bicycle (free rental available), or opt for a scenic boat ride around the bay (approx. 25 minutes, at your own expense), where you can even feed seagulls while enjoying views of over 200 unique waterfront houses. 

After a fulfilling day surrounded by nature and heritage, begin your return journey. The tour concludes in Kyoto around 18:00 (approximate), or you may choose to be dropped off in Osaka’s vibrant Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori areas for about an hour of free time.  Here, explore lively shopping streets or indulge in Osaka’s famous street food such as takoyaki and ramen, soaking in the energetic city atmosphere.

After breakfast, begin your day with a scenic journey from Osaka to Kyoto. Upon arrival in Kyoto, visit the beautiful Kiyomizu Temple area, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where you will have approximately 2.5 hours to explore at your own pace, including time for lunch. Stroll through the charming streets of Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka, visit the historic Gion district, and admire traditional Japanese architecture. You may also opt for a cultural kimono experience (optional, at your own expense) while exploring the area.

Continue to Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine, famous for its thousands of vibrant torii gates forming scenic walking trails. Spend around 70 minutes here enjoying free time to explore and take photos.

Later, travel to Nara and visit Nara Park, home to the famous free-roaming deer. Enjoy approximately 1.5 hours to walk through the park, interact with the deer, and optionally visit Todaiji Temple (entrance fee at own expense), one of Japan’s most significant temples.

In the evening, return towards Osaka, with a stop at the lively Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori areas, where you can enjoy about an hour of free time for shopping and local street food before concluding the tour.

After breakfast, begin your journey. The first stop is Enoshima, reached at approximately 12:30 PM, where you will have around 100 minutes for free exploration. Enoshima is a scenic island known for its rich history, legends, and cultural significance. You may visit Enoshima Shrine, dedicated to Benzaiten, the goddess of wealth, music, and fortune. The island also offers beautiful coastal views and a peaceful atmosphere, making it a perfect place for a relaxing stroll.

At around 2:10 PM, experience a short ride on the famous Enoden Electric Railway (approximately 15 minutes), a charming tram line connecting Fujisawa and Kamakura. This route offers picturesque views of the Shonan Coast and is widely featured in Japanese movies and anime.

By 2:30 PM, visit Kamakura High School, a well-known filming location from the popular anime Slam Dunk. Spend about 20 minutes here capturing photos at the iconic railway crossing, a nostalgic spot for many visitors.

Continue to Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine at around 3:10 PM, where you will have approximately 80 minutes to explore. This historic shrine dates back to the Kamakura Shogunate period and is one of the most important cultural and spiritual sites in the region. Nearby, you can also walk along Komachi-dori Street, a lively shopping street filled with local snacks, souvenirs, and traditional crafts.

At 5:30 PM, head to the Yokohama area for around 2.5 hours of free time. Here, you may choose to explore attractions such as the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse, a historic waterfront complex now home to shops, restaurants, and event spaces, or enjoy panoramic city views from the Cosmo Clock 21 Ferris Wheel. You may also opt to experience the Yokohama Air Cabin cable car (optional, at your own expense), offering stunning views of the harbour and cityscape.

At approximately 8:00 PM, depart from Yokohama and return to Tokyo. The tour concludes around 9:00 PM at Shinjuku West Exit. Guests may choose to end their day here and explore Shinjuku, one of Tokyo’s most vibrant districts known for its shopping, dining, and entertainment options. Overnight stay in Tokyo.
