Day 1

Phnom Penh Arrival – City Tour

Welcome to Phnom Penh, Cambodia’s vibrant and bustling capital city. Despite its recent turbulent history, Phnom Penh’s wide tree-lined boulevards and faded colonial mansions hold an undeniable charm. Upon arrival, your tour guide will meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel for check-in. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant then set out on a city tour to acquaint yourself with Phnom Penh’s major sites. Start your visit learning about the Khmer Rouge and Cambodia’s recent history on a guided tour of the TuolSleng Genocide Museum. Enjoy some free time to rest and freshen up before driving to the dock to catch an evening boat cruise along the Mekong River. Savor a welcome dinner on board as you watch the sunset over the shimmering lights of Phnom Penh. Meals: Dinner.

Day 2

Phnom Penh – Tonle Bati & Phnom Penh Chisor

After breakfast, travel by car to Phnom Chiso and visit the temple on the hilltop and the weaving village nearby. Lunch en-route; return to Phnom Penh with a stop at Prasat Neang Khmau, then Tonle Bati to see Ta Prom and Yeay Peou temples. Meals: Breakfast.

Day 3

Phnom Penh – Drive to Siem Reap – Floating Village – Sunset

After breakfast our driver will meet you at your hotel and take you on the 5 hour drive from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap. The journey offers an excellent opportunity to observe rural Cambodia up-close. Stop along the way and visit a market, where every assortment of street food is available, including the Khmer favorite: fried spiders! Once you arrive in Siem Reap. In the afternoon, head out of town and embark on a short cruise along Tonle Sap Lake to visit the local floating villages. The experience is wonderful as we pass by floating villages, friendly children in small boats and fishermen at work. Finally, enjoy sunset either on the lake or in the rice fields, as you wish. In the evening, enjoy the dinner and Apsara Dance Performance at Kulen II restaurant. Meals: Breakfast, Dinner.

Day 4

Siem Reap – Angkor Wat – Angkor Thom

Enjoy an entire day devoted to the mystical and ancient Angkor Temples. After an early breakfast at the hotel set out to Angkor Thom’s imposing South Gate, topped with the four serenely smiling faces of Avalokiteshvara. Next, visit Bayon Temple, the Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. Leaving Angkor Thom by the North Gate, travel to Preah Khan (Sacred Sword), one of Angkor’s largest temples, constructed in the 12th century by Jayavarman VII. After a delicious lunch of traditional Khmer food, head to the mystical, jungle-entwined Ta Prohm Temple and then on to the most famous Khmer temple: Angkor Wat, first constructed as a Hindu monument and later dedicated to Buddha, Angkor Wat is the largest temple and finest example of Angkorian art and architect.
On the way back to town, enjoy one more opportunity to watch the sunset in Pre Rup, considered to be a mini Angkor Wat.  Meals: Breakfast.

Day 5

Cooking Class in the Village – Rolous Group

Discover the secrets of authentic Khmer cuisine in a half-day cooking class. Begin with a walk along the country lanes in the village where you will learn about Cambodian vegetables, herbs, and other ingredients before returning to the classroom for a hands-on culinary experience. After dining on your creations, We have arranged a visit to some of the oldest temples in the Angkor complex. Just one hour outside of town visit the ancient capital of King Indravarman I (877-889), now referred to as the Rolous Group and known as the birthplace of classical Khmer art and architecture. On the way back to Siem Reap, visit a shadow puppet workshop and enjoy a traditional performance put on by the “Little Angels” orphanage and school. Return to Siem Reap in the late afternoon. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch.

Day 6

Sunrise at Ta Prohm – BanteaySrei – Preah Khan Temples

Enjoy an entire day dedicated to discovering the mysterious Angkor temples. Wake before dawn and take a tuk-tuk ride to visit the jungle-entwined temple, Ta Prohm, at sunrise. Dawn is one of the most beautiful and haunting times to visit the temples, whose ancient sandstone blocks are gilded gold by the early morning rays. A breakfast box will be severed today. Afterwards, we drive to BanteaySrei, home to Angkor’s finest stone carvings, followed by Preah Khan (Sacred Sword): one of Angkor’s largest temples, constructed in the 12th century by Jayavarman VII.
In the afternoon, you are free to relax at the hotel or explore the PsarChass, also known as the “Old Market” for some last minute souvenir shopping. Meals: Breakfast.

Day 7

Siem Reap Departure

Today is free for last minute shopping or sight-seeing before our driver takes you to Siem Reap International Airport to catch your flight home. Safe journey home.
